Medicaid in the
Public Schools (MIPS)

Allows school
districts to receive Medicaid
reimbursement when they provide
Speech/Language, Occupational Therapy,
and Physical Therapy to Medicaid
eligible children.
- ESU #13
coordinates this program for 22
school districts in the Panhandle.
- Liaison for
NDE, HHS, and schools.
- Staff
training for schools and service
providers.
- Monthly list
to districts and providers of
eligible children.
- Monthly MIPS
record sheet from service providers.
- Individual
student billing claim forms for HHS.
- Billing
information for reimbursement.

Child Care Connection |
This project will
strive to build, maintain and expand
upon the work begun by a previous
capacity building grant which formed the
Panhandle Early Childhood Interagency
Team.
The proposal will focus on enhancing
connections with childcare providers in
the Panhandle of Nebraska in order to
support them in welcoming children ages
birth to three, who have special needs.
